Young Ms. Hoyt-O’Connor

Young Ms. Hoyt-O’Connor at the 2016 National Championships

At Motor Works, you’re way more than just your vehicle. Behind every vehicle we service is a person or family with a story to tell. The Hoyt-O’Connors have been servicing their cars with Motor Works for about 8 years. Their 2003 Honda Odyssey, at 170,000 miles, has been all over the country for their daughter’s Irish Dance competitions. We got this email from Mrs. Hoyt-O’Connor…

When we met a few weeks ago at Motor Works you asked my husband Paul and me to send a couple of photos of the places we have driven the van for Irish Dance. I have included a few pictures of last summer’s trip to the North American Nationals Championship in Orlando Florida. I wish I had counted the miles we have traveled for our daughter’s dancing. The van is 14 years old and has 170,000 miles. I want to guess that at least 50,000 of the last 80,000 miles (over the last 8 years that Motor Works has been taking care of our cars) are from traveling to competitions. In addition to having a great time at the competitions and the host cities, we have had great times in the van coming and going. Thanks for keeping us riding safe and sound all these years. Next week she dances at the World Championship in Dublin, Ireland but we won’t we’ll have to leave the van home for that trip.

Of course, we wish her the best of luck in Ireland!
