Fire Update - We Are Moving!

FIRE UPDATE: We Are Moving!

As you may (or may not) know, back in November of 2023 there was a massive fire at our original location (687 Lofstrand Ln., Rockville MD 20850). And, while we were originally hoping to wait out the rebuilding process and reopen in our favored home, there simply was too much damage done to the building for that to be feasible & realistic.

So we're going to have to pivot and, instead of staying put, we'll have to move. And, that's okay! We can pivot, we've done it before and we'll be happy to do so again - especially if it means we get to get back to our mission, to provide exceptional tailored automotive service to the Honda, Toyota, and Subaru owners of the DMV. And, we can move to a new location, too! While we may not have done that before, we're good at thinking on our feet and "making it work" so, we'll be alright.

Moving is going to be a considerable amount of work; There are new lifts and signage to install, equipment to move from our old shop, and an office-waiting area to build out (just to list a few), so it may be a little while yet before we're back to completely operational. Work we can, and will, do though - so, as we always say "no worries!". That work is already underway and, is targeted for completion near the end of January-beginning of February 2024. Stay tuned for further updates! We will be updating our Website  and Facebook Page regularly, as well as sending out emails to our client base as things progress.

We continue to be immensely grateful for, and thankful to, the Motor Works Family. In these trying times it has been comforting to receive the many emails and calls wishing us well and looking forward to our speedy recovery. We are just so glad no one was physically hurt through all this, and that there was no loss of life. In the end, it's all just 'stuff' and 'stuff' can be replaced. The Motor Works Family is simply irreplaceable.
